In Cahoots Co Pty Ltd (ABN 62 651 323 410) builds websites, automations, AI policies and ad campaigns for businesses. We care about your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and handle personal information. As a small business, we apply the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) on a policy basis. In practice that means:

Questions asked on our home page
When you type a question into the “Ask” box on our home page, we save the question text so we can see what people want to know and improve the site. Please don't include personal or confidential details. We don't link these questions to your name unless you also send us an enquiry.

Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the business, and they only process information for the purpose it was provided. These include Google (Workspace, Analytics and Ads), Duda (website platform), Amazon Web Services (cloud storage), Microsoft, Stripe (payments), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Mailchimp (email). Our CRM is Bigin by Zoho, and the AI tools we use are listed in our AI Transparency Statement. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We do not sell personal information, or share it with anyone else unless you agree or the law requires or allows it.
Automated decisions and AI
We don't use AI or any other automated process to make decisions about people, such as scoring, ranking or filtering clients, leads, job applicants or staff. Every decision about a person is made by a person. Some of our tools include AI features, and we use AI to help with tasks like drafting and research, with a person reviewing the result. Staying anonymous
Where it's practical, you can deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym, for example for a general question.
How we communicate with you
We send service, account and payment emails as part of the work. Marketing emails only go out if you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by emailing hello@incahootsco.com.au.
Storage, retention and security
We store information securely, keep it only as long as we need it, and then destroy it securely. If a prospective client doesn't go ahead, we delete their details within 60 days of first contact. Please report any security concerns to hello@incahootsco.com.au.
Social media
Information you share with us on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram or TikTok is also covered by that platform's privacy policy. If you'd prefer not to share details there, use our contact form instead.
Access and correction
You can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email hello@incahootsco.com.au.
